Maple and Pineapple Ham

In The Oven

  1. Place ham in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
  2. Place oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 140 °C (275 °F).
  3. Drain ham and insert cloves.
  4. Place ham in an oven-safe dish, cover with pineapple slices and pour pineapple juice and maple syrup over top.
  5. Bake uncovered for 90 minutes, basting 2–3 times with the pineapple juice and maple syrup mixture.
