Sweet & Sour Apple Pork Chops

10 to 12 minutes Cook time 15 minutes Prep time 4 servings



On the stove

  1. Coat chops with thyme over a work surface.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Lightly brown chops on each side.
  3. Spread apple slices over chops and deglaze with cider vinegar and apple syrup. Sprinkle with cinnamon and season to taste. Bring to a boil and cover. Simmer gently for 5 to 6 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let stand, uncovered, for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
