Pork Tenderloin with Apples

  1. Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and brown tenderloin on all sides for 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add apple quarters, garlic and cedar branch. Cover and cook gently for 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Remove and discard cedar branch. Remove tenderloin from skillet and place in a dish. Cover with foil and keep warm.
  4. Pour cider and apple jelly into the skillet with the apples. Continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in demi-glace sauce and let simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Thinly slice tenderloin and serve with apple sauce.
