Ingredients

Preparation

On the BBQ

  1. Preheat barbecue to medium or oven to 200 oC (400 oF).
  2. Brush pork with oils and brown quickly on the grill, or heat oils in a skillet and sear. Cut 4 large squares of aluminum foil and lay a square of parchment paper over each to prevent food from sticking.
  3. In a pot, combine sauce ingredients (concentrated orange juice, hoisin sauce, Chinese five spices, salt and pepper) and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Set aside.
  4. Place one serving of pork on each square of parchment, coat each with one quarter of the sauce, and top with vegetables. Fold up foil edges to seal papillotes and cook for 7–10 minutes. Let rest 3–4 minutes before serving.
  5. Transfer vegetables from papillotes to plates. Slice pork tenderloin, arrange over bed of vegetables and drizzle with sauce. Serve with steamed rice.
