Bacon Brownie

Ingredients

Note : You can replace part of butter with the bacon fat, straining it first. Il is very important to remove any bits that burned during the cooking process from the bacon fat.

Preparation

In The Oven

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Sift together granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, salt and cocoa powder.
  3. Crack eggs into a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat eggs at medium speed until smooth.
  4. Decrease speed to slow and add dry ingredients to eggs. Once smooth, add vanilla, then slowly add melted butter.
  5. Use a spatula to fold in bacon.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the centre of the brownie is firm to the touch.
  7. Cool and enjoy!
