Pork Burritos

Note : you can also make burritos with the slow cooker pulled pork recipe or with strips of pork. This recipe can be prepared a few days in advance. Keeps well in the fridge or freezer.


In The Oven

  1. In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, melt butter and soften onion. Add meat and sauté until cooked and lightly browned. Add spices. Continue cooking for approximately 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Pour into a large bowl and add beans, rice and corn. Add hot sauce and season to taste. Set aside.
  3. Place oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  4. Place tortillas on a work surface. Divide meat mixture in the centre of each and top with cheese and jalapeños.
  5. Roll each tortilla, folding the two ends toward the centre to seal. Wrap in foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with sour cream and salsa.


  1. Garden salad (lettuce, diced tomatoes, radishes and mandolin sliced cucumbers) or grilled corn.
