Pork Fried Rice
Ingredients
Notes : You can also use some diced leftover pork roast. Pork strips can come from the tenderloin, the leg or the loin. This recipe is perfect for lunches.
Preparation
- In a large skillet set over high heat, heat half the oil and lightly brown pork strips for 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet set over medium heat, sauté cabbage, white part of onions, bell pepper, celery and garlic until tender. Add peas. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- In another large skillet set over high heat, heat remaining oil and sesame oil.
- Sauté rice until lightly browned. Add meat, reserved vegetables, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Warm and mix well to combine.
- Drizzle in egg and continue cooking for approximately 2 to 3 minutes while stirring. Season to taste.
